Certification Overview:
The IAQMC Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt course equips professionals with foundational knowledge in the Lean Six Sigma Methodology. Yellow Belts are proficient in leading limited improvement projects and supporting more complex projects led by Certified Green Belts or Certified Black Belts. This certification demonstrates competence in the fundamental elements of Define, Measure, and Control (DMC) phases, as outlined in the IAQMC Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Body of Knowledgeâ„¢.
Certification Testing:
- Exam Format: The IAQMC Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Exam is a 60-question, closed-book, proctored exam with a 2-hour time limit. Some versions may include up to an additional 6 non-graded questions.
- Testing Centers: Exams are administered in numerous Testing Centers worldwide and through the IAQMC Online Proctoring testing system.
- Passing Score: Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 70% to earn the IAQMC Certified Yellow Belt (IAQMC-CYBâ„¢) designation.
Course Requirements:
- Duration: 6 live classes, each spanning 2 hours, conducted over a period of 3 weeks.
- Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites required to sit for the IAQMC Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Exam.
Preparation:
While not mandatory, it is recommended to obtain Lean Six Sigma training from IAQMC, an accredited and qualified institution, before taking the certification exam. IAQMC offers comprehensive training programs designed to equip candidates with the knowledge and skills required to excel in the Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt exam.
Additionally, IAQMC provides a non-proctored Yellow Belt Evaluation Exam to help candidates assess their readiness for the official proctored Certification Exam. This evaluation exam serves as a valuable tool for identifying areas of strength and areas needing improvement, enabling candidates to better prepare for success.
